Doppler memory trick

New to Doppler and struggling to keep it straight? Just remember color depends on direction of flow with relationship to the probe- standard convention is B.A.R.T.- Blue away and Red towards, with red on top and blue on bottom, just like Bart Simpson’s clothes!
Society of Hospital Medicine’s Survey on POCUS
SHM has put out a survey/sort of needs assessment to guide plans on expanding point-of-care ultrasound training and educational offerings for hospitalists. Its very brief (2 minutes) but could really jumpstart things for SHM. If you are a hospitalist and/or internist, please consider filing it out if you haven’t already.
