Michael Wagner, MD RDMS FACP

Dr. Wagner graduated from Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS) in Norfolk, VA and Internal Medicine residency at Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, VA.  After training he served as a flight surgeon at the Naval Aerospace Medical Institute and internist at the Naval Hospital in Pensacola, FL.  Along the way he found that point of care ultrasound (POCUS) was able to sharpen his diagnostic acumen by bridging the widening gap between the traditional physical exam and advanced modern diagnostic imaging.  He is now a passionate teacher of POCUS to primary care physicians, hospitalists, internists and family physicians.  He completed a Primary Care Ultrasound Fellowship at the University of South Carolina Ultrasound Institute.  Currently Dr. Wagner is an attending physician and Director of Internal Medicine Ultrasound in Greenville, South Carolina.
